Two-time award-winning catering and retail provider

The U Dine Awards 2022

On Thursday 16th June 2022, we were recognised at the U Dine Award as winners of the Café Concept Award based on our submission for our in-house Craft Coffee sold across all our outlets at The University of Leicester.

Representing the University and LSP were Gavin Brown – LSP CEO, Jo Holland – Section Manager Retail & Hospitality, Ross Hearst – Head Chef and Julie Smith – Retail Manager.

We are proud to announce we are now a two-time award-winning catering and retail provider at The University of Leicester, having won the University Catering Award at the Public Sector Catering Awards just two months ago, based on our submission for Campus Kitchen within the Percy Gee Building.

Gavin Brown, CEO, said: “To be recognised not only once, but twice as the best University cafés in the UK is a huge achievement for the LSP team at the University of Leicester.”

We are the University’s catering and retail operator and a subsidiary of the University of Leicester, created in 2017, to unify and deliver all catering, retail, and bars operations across the campus.

The U Dine Awards were established to celebrate and recognise excellence in the university hospitality sector. The awards night was hosted by British Chef, Writer, TV Personality and President of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Brian Turner CBE.
