The Square Café Set to Open in SU Square

A fresh, new dining experience is coming to campus as the outlet previously branded as ‘We Proudly Serve Starbucks’ in the SU Square of the Percy Gee Building undergoes a transformation.   

The new concept, officially named The Square Café, has been chosen by the University of Leicester’s Food and Drink Catering Assistants working in the current outlet, and aims to deliver high-quality, great-value food and drink for students, staff, and visitors alike.  

What to Expect at The Square Café?  

The Square Café aims to cater to a diverse range of dietary needs and budgets while providing an inviting space for relaxation and refreshment.  

Premium Coffee, Great Value.  

The outlet will feature a unique, rich blend of coffee, offering a stronger, heavier roast for a premium taste. In addition, budget-friendly hot drink options will be available to ensure affordability without compromising quality.  

Delicious Food, All Day Long.  

The Square Café will introduce an all-day grazing menu with a variety of food options, including, but not limited to:  

  • Hot Grab-and-Go Items – satisfy your cravings on the go. 
  • Freshly Made Breakfast Options – ideal for a quick, tasty morning meal. 
  • Made In-House Salad Bowls and Toasted Wraps – perfect for a hearty lunch.
